In the Netherlands, there are tech startups coming up with breakthroughs in biotechnology and health, autonomous cars and much more. No one can deny the fact the revolution is being led by some bold companies in a bid to solve problems, create value and innovation.

Technology Fast 50 is a programme that recognises and profiles the fastest growing technology companies in the Netherlands. Here, the companies are selected on the basis of their realised revenue growth over the past four years (2014 – 2017). Having said that, the companies started under 4 years participates in the Rising Star category. They were judged by an external jury on their level of innovation, growth potential and scalability.

#1 Amber

Amber is an intelligent car-sharing platform with a modular, autonomous, and customizable electric car designed specifically to be shared. Based out of Eindhoven, Amber was founded in 2016 by Merien ten Houten and Steven Nelemans. Till now, the scaleup has raised a total funding amount of €500K in a single round.

#2 APOC Aviation

APOC Aviation is one of the world’s newest aircraft part-out companies with office, and warehouse is located in Delft, The Netherlands, right between Rotterdam Airport and Amsterdam Schiphol Airport. The scaleup provides a large stock of quality parts for the aviation industry which sells in both AR/SV conditions. APOC Aviation even has a small plane stationed at Rotterdam Airport available for those quickly needed deliveries within Europe.

#3 Channable

Founded in 2014 by Rob van Nuenen, and Stefan Hospes, Channable is an online based product data feed tool powerful enough to create, optimize and export your feeds to over 1000 comparison websites, affiliate platforms, and marketplaces. The company has so far raised a funding amount of €750K in a single funding round.

#4 Hotelchamp

Based out of Amsterdam, Hotelchamp as a scaleup gives hoteliers both the techniques and technology to connect with their guests online and boost direct bookings. It is now adopted in over 1,000 hotels in more than 45 countries. Founded by Kasper Middelkoop and Kristian Valk in 2015, Hotelchamp has raised funding around €4M in two rounds so far.

#5 Lone Rooftop

Lone Rooftop is founded by Jeroen Coumans and Marcel Lamers in 2014. This company develops products to optimise big office buildings for hospitality and sustainability. Based on existing WiFi networks and sensors, our Position Intelligence Engine (PIE) provides organisations and systems with the most accurate, real-time and predictive occupancy metrics of their buildings. So far, the company has collected around $500K in a single round.

#6 Otrium

Otrium helps fashion brands to open an outlet store with zero effort and all the benefits. With this platform, brands can sell outlet and previous collections to an online community of fashion lovers, while keeping full ownership of all items until sold. Founded by Max Klijnstra and Milan Daniels in 2015, Otrium has raised €1.6M in three rounds.

As the name mentions, this is a hiring platform for teams of all sizes. From employer branding, job promoting, talent sourcing, to applicant tracking, Recruitee helps teams streamline their hiring efforts and stay efficient while selecting the right candidates. Based out of Amsterdam, Recruitee is founded by Paul Smoczyk, Perry Oostdam in 2015.

Temper is the online marketplace for freelancers in the hospitality industry. Through this platform, self-employed people can be used by hotels, bars, restaurants, and clubs without the intervention of an employment agency.

Vamp gives you all the tools to release, control and optimize your containerized apps on cloud and on-prem platforms. Moreover, Vamp integrates business and technical KPI’s for automation and optimisation of the releases.

#10 ZIVVER

It is a user-friendly solution for secure email and file transfer, straight from your familiar email programme. This enables you to prevent human errors, encrypt your data against hackers. The company is founded by Alwin Schoemaker, Jeroen Diederix, Rick Goud, and Vincent van Donselaar in 2015. ZIVVER has collected around €3M in a single round.
