Berlin-based Peec AI has secured €7M in funding within five months of its founding. The startup initially closed a €1.8M pre-Seed round in April, followed by the current €5.2M Seed round led by 20VC less than four weeks later.
The Seed round was led by 20VC, with participation from Antler, Foreword VC, Identity.VC, Combination VC, and S20.
Founded in 2025, the German company builds an AI search platform for marketing teams and has completed two funding rounds in quick succession. The rapid second round came after the company’s growth in revenue.
Peec AI launched its product four months ago and has generated €650,000 in annual recurring revenue (ARR). The company reports weekly growth of €80,000 and plans to use the funding to expand its analytics platform for marketing teams.
Helping brands stay visible
Peec AI’s platform addresses changes in search behaviour, as 27 per cent of consumers now use AI search platforms for at least half of their internet searches. Users increasingly turn to platforms like ChatGPT and Perplexity instead of traditional Google searches.
Founded by Marius Meiners, Tobias Siwonia and Daniel Drabo, Peec AI provides marketing teams with tools to analyse and improve brand visibility in AI search platforms.
The platform enables teams to understand brand performance, benchmark against competitors, track mentions, and identify high-impact sources. Marketing teams can use the platform to develop strategies for driving traffic and conversions from AI search platforms.
Marius Meiners, co-founder of Peec AI, says, “Companies have to adjust to a world where people are asking ChatGPT and Perplexity which TV to buy or where to go for vacation, while searches on Google are going down. We want to give marketers the tools to win on these new platforms and drive growth for their companies.”
The founding team met during an Antler founder residency in Berlin in late 2024. Marius Meiners brings experience as a professional esports athlete, software engineer, and venture deals professional. Tobias Siwona has co-founded multiple AI and consumer tech startups and led engineering teams at companies like Lovoo and Zapp. Daniel Drabo previously founded a legaltech startup after studying law at Humboldt University.
What the Investors Have to Say?
Christoph Klink, Partner at Antler, says, “Brands can’t afford to ignore AI search. With Google alone reporting 1.5B monthly users of AI search in 100 countries, this is a new digital media that will be critical to the visibility and reputation of companies around the world. Peec AI gives marketing teams the tools they need to succeed in the AI search era.”
“The founding team has a hunger and grit that only comes from being serial entrepreneurs. They have the technical expertise and vision to make Peec AI a category-leading AI search business. I am delighted to have supported Peec AI from day zero, and the speed with which they have raised this funding is testament to their long-term growth potential.”
Kieran Hill, Partner at 20VC, adds, “Peec’s growth is obviously phenomenal, but early-stage venture ultimately comes down to two key elements – is this a world-class team, and are they directionally right? In the case of Peec, this team is the most cracked I have met in 2025. A+ product taste, insane work ethic and talent that runs deep throughout the company. Writing this check was a no-brainer for 20VC.”
