Advanced Microbiome Interventions

Advanced Microbiome Interventions pioneers microbiome-based treatments for type 1 diabetes and autoimmune diseases. The company’s research identifies gut microbiome abnormalities in diabetes, correctable through microorganism interventions.
Leveraging products from healthy microbiomes, they develop innovative drugs, supported by the Innovation Fund North Holland. Their Proof-of-Concept study at Amsterdam UMC marks a crucial step toward new oral treatments for these conditions.
The company has received a €300K convertible loan from Innovatiefonds Noord-Holland to accelerate drug development for type 1 diabetes.
