Specialist in the field of proptech, SweepBright has secured €2.3 million in a Series A round led by Cennini Holdings, QuaeroQ and some private investors. In addition to it, the existing investors Volta Ventures, Pieterjan Bouten, Louis Jonckheere, and Jeroen Lemaire also participated in the round. With this, the company has raised a total of €3.8M in funding over 2 rounds.

With this funding, the company is planning to expand its team with additional developers, sales profiles, R&D with the expansion of its data analytics capacities and the addition of extended campaign management features.

Helps real estate agents to digitise their activities

Founded in 2016 by Raphael Bochner, and Yoram Speaker, SweepBright is developing an app that helps real estate agents digitise their activities. It lets real estate agents create, distribute and follow up on listing from smartphones quickly and conveniently. This platform has been designed from the onset with mobile usage in mind and integrates seamlessly with third-party applications including Zapier, MailChimp, Intercom, and social channels.

It is compatible with iOS platform and desktop browser as well to record all the relevant information from visiting properties. For example, each and every property in the market is unique. In this case, the broker must create a list of things/factors, and photos to promote the property online via social media, websites, and apps. This is exactly what SweepBright want to simplify through a mobile app.

Expanding to South America and Australia

This, in turn, enables small or large agencies large to transform their sales flow into a fully digital journey with higher efficiency and productivity. At present, the company is active globally with offices in Antwerp and New York. Moreover, the company is also planning to work in collaboration in Mexico with search site Segundamano and with the Real Estate Institute of Queensland in Brisbane, Australia.

SweepBright CEO Raphael Bochner commented: “The future belongs to real estate agencies who are able to make the shift to increased productivity, a better customer experience and more robust digital marketing. This trend is already very visible in countries such as the US. However, even in Belgium, there are several agencies – including a few newcomers – who have high ambitions with this approach. The biggest achievements are booked by real estate agencies that go beyond mere technological gimmicks and make a radical break with the traditional ways of working.”
