In the growing trend of e-scooters in Germany, the Berlin-based startup Grover has unveiled a novel approach for micro-mobility trough monthly subscription model. Grovers offers an alternative to buying e-scooters while enjoy unlimited rides in an economic manner.

GroverGo

GroverGo facilitates users with rental Xiaomi e-scooter Mijia M365 at the monthly subscription of €49.90. The flexible and lightweight scooter has a speed up to 25 km/h and capacity of riding 30 km without recharging. The monthly subscription is inclusive of Grover Care damage protection and can be rescinded at any time.

Advantage over pay-per-ride

The benefit of GroverGo is that renters can own e-scooters for a month and ride efficiently by their choice without flocking to get one every time.

Grover says, “GroverGo customers make their scooter their own for the time of their subscription and know that it’s always charged and at their disposal. Even in the most remote neighbourhoods, the scooter can be folded and taken to the office or a bar and will be there for the ride home.”

It is believed that the usage of e-scooters will escalate as the German Federal Government is likely to amend regulations and allow e-scooters on public streets.

Grover maximises the value of technology

Headquartered in Berlin, Grover enables customers to enjoy full flexibility in using, buying, switching and returning cutting-edge tech products. Founded in 2015 by Michael Cassau, the startup had experienced a 10 times growth in 2017 and currently employs more than 50 people.

CEO and founder of Grover Michael Cassau articulated, “I am confident that our approach with GroverGo is smart and efficient, and will convince many to switch to e-mobility without the barriers and commitment of buying and financing, and without the hassle of shared e-scooter services.”
