The Netherlands-based BCS HR Group, a Human Resource Management (HRM) and payroll software provider, announced on Tuesday that it has acquired two Dutch-based software companies, Tasper and MediSoft, with the support of software investor Main Capital Partners.
The announcement comes three months after BCS HR Group made its first acquisition – HR software provider Apployed.
The acquisitions aim to cement the company’ position in the Human Capital Management market in the Benelux region.
Reason behind acquisition
BCS HR Group aims to offer its clients a broad spectrum of HR solutions. MediSoft and Tasper both provide complementary solutions to the product portfolio of BCS.
MediSoft solutions cover absenteeism registration, case management, and reintegration trajectories. BCS will now be able to offer a robust end-to-end absence management solution, which is currently used by corporates and healthcare organisations.
Tasper specialises in software that allows companies to offer flexible benefits to their employees. It includes, but is not limited to, personal benefit statements, fitness budget, training budget, absence/leave, declarations, time registration, and CO2 registration. As a result, the solution improves employee engagement and satisfaction.
With the acquisition of Tasper, the company is responding to calls from employees to have more control over their working conditions. The current client base of Tasper consists of larger corporates, similar to MediSoft, and companies such as (semi-) governmental institutions and financial services providers.
Tasper has expanded towards the SME market in the past years. With the strong position of BCS in this segment, the group expects to continue growing and further roll out the solutions over the rest of the client base.
