Tallinn-based Pointship has raised $1.9M (approximately €1.82M) in a funding round with participation from investors based in Turkey, Dubai, and London.
The round also included a follow-on investment from Startup Wise Guys, a European accelerator fund.
The funding will support the company’s efforts to enhance its platform and expand its services.
Digital assets marketplace
Pointship is a digital assets marketplace where members can share and trade travel rewards, gaming credits, and event tickets within a secure community. Its goal is to convert digital assets into NFTs and facilitate exchanges using tokens. Users can either monetise unused assets or access more affordable options.
The company operates through two specialised solutions: Pointship, which focuses on travel-related digital assets, and Gameship, which is designed for gaming asset management and trading.
By offering a structured and secure marketplace, the platform aims to help users maximise the value of their digital assets.
The platform prioritises security by integrating payment providers such as PayPal and 3D Secure, ensuring that only necessary personal information is shared for transactions. Membership is required for both sharing and redeeming rewards, though registration is free.
To share your miles or points and earn income on Pointship, enter the amount you want to list, set a minimum share per order, specify your price per 1,000 miles/points, and provide proof of your account. The app offers step-by-step guidance to ensure a smooth process.
