Startups and scale-ups around the world can tap into international business expertise and thrive despite the global downturn, as the BASE 2020 conference goes digital. Amid the pandemic, BASE 2020 is being held online on 17-18 September, making it easy for companies to join, wherever they are.
With the theme Humanizing Business Beyond Profit, BASE 2020 is focusing on people in business. By joining online, delegates can hear from entrepreneurs and business leaders who scaled up and found success by putting people before profit.
Veronica Guguian, co-founder of BASE 2020, said: “It’s so clear today that people are the key to success in business, and we believe companies that scale up by putting people first have a better chance of surviving and thriving.
BASE 2020 will be held online over two days, and will feature:
- Strategy workshops with business experts from the USA and Europe
- Talks by policymakers on how they envision the future of work
- Networking with scale-ups that ‘humanized business beyond profit’ during the pandemic
The topics covered include:
- pivoting during a crisis
- design thinking
- creativity
- leadership
- managing teams while working remotely
BASE 2020 is online and open to delegates around the world. Tickets are now on sale at https://baseconference.amsterdam.
As well as access to the conference sessions, workshops and networking events, every delegate will receive a free copy of the e-book version of Scale from the BASE Up: Humanizing Business. This edition includes the knowledge and experience of our speakers, as well as in-depth interviews by editor Lucy Goodchild. Having expert tips and insights to hand after the conference will help delegates implement what they’ve learned.
