Easy to use

Fixico provides a simple way for car owners to get in contact with repair service providers. On the platform, user can not only compare different repair rates, but also post requests for cosmetic repairs on their vehicle. Within 24 hours after a request is posted (with a tool to upload photos of the damage), the user receives several quotes for the repairs. Car owners then select a match based on fare, service level and ratings from other users.

The startups mainly focusses on cosmetic damages: the part of the car repair market that’s not controlled by insurers. Cosmetic damages typically fall under the car owners own excess deductible, or is not covered by the insurance company at all. With the comparison platform, car owners can save quite a bit of money.
