Last update:

The French adtech startup PixelMe has received a seed funding of €1 million for its retargeting URL shortener. The investment round has been led by the French VC Serena, with participation from Kima Venture and angel investors including Thomas Rebaud, Christophe Chausson, Stan Massueras, Manuel Jaffrin, Edouard Dessain Gelinet, and Gregory Gazagne. The investors now have become a total 22% stakeholder in the company.

The Partner at Serena, Kamel Zeroual said, “A new generation of freelances and SMEs are now ultra-connected. They’re all looking for simple and easy tools to help them develop their business (the do-it-yourself generation). PixelMe is drastically simplifying the technical acquisition process (growth marketing) in order to offer as many users as possible a simple, multiplatform and ROI oriented tool.”

PixelMe – ‘all in one go’ digital marketing solution

The Saas platform PixelMe creates and manages UTMs (tracking Parameters), embeds retargeting pixels and tracks clients’ acquisition within the same link. It enables SMEs (small and medium enterprises) to boost their conversion rates with efficient online campaign management. The platform inserts retargeting pixels to the client’s links and turns every URL into right targeted ads.

Boon for e-commerce

Retargeting has become an integrated part in the e-commerce arena, where less than 10% of visitors buy a product in their first visit. PixelMe offers its own URL builder and shortener that facilitate companies to embed a remarketing pixel in any URL. It enables the third-party depended clients (companies relied on Amazon, Facebook, Adwords, Quora, Twitter, etc.) to enhance their conversion rates by around 50%.

Headquartered in Paris, PixelMe was started in 2017 by Tom Benattar, Jérémie Doucy and Maxime Berthelot. After a year of hard work, the startup has proved its mettle in the industry and is working with 12,000 companies across the world. Some of its worth mentioning clientele includes IBM, Verizon, Auchan, Buffer and Chargebee. Prior the funding, the startup had a valuation of €3.5 million and has reached a monthly recurring revenue of €9k. The funding will abet PixelMe to expand its team and market penetration.
