The Netherlands is becoming a hub for startups. And, with the increasing number of startups and enterprises, the trend of co-working space has also been set in the country.

The Tel Aviv co-working space Merkspace, which operates in five locations in Tel Aviv and one in Amsterdam is now all set to open its second office in the Netherlands. As informed in the company press release, the second office will be opened on October 1, 2018 in Amstelveen near South Axis.

Merkspace was founded by Sapir Spigel and her father in 2015. It connects startup ecosystems across the world and builds a community of entrepreneurs, corporates and companies in the growth phase. The new office in Amstelveen can accommodate 550 members in the modern space of 5000m2. The shared workplace will let freelancers, startups, emerging and established companies work together and learn from each other.

Merkspace provides countless facilities

Merkspace’s new office in Amstelveen will have 120 private offices accommodating up to 100 people and more than 100 co-working and flexible desks for the freelancers, corporates, growing businesses and startups involved in creative, lifestyle and tech industries. Merkspace will have spacious work areas, meeting rooms, parking spaces and business lounges. It will offer luxury fittings and facilities to the members.

Each member of the co-working space can get access to facilities such as a terrace, garden, parking spaces, sports facility with tennis courts, business lounge, meeting rooms and in-house restaurants. It is located on the outskirts of Amsterdam and is accessible by car. Merkspace has come up with the second office as there was a huge demand for creative workplaces outside Amsterdam.

Facilities at a reasonable cost

At a reasonable cost of €120 per month, members can hire flexible workplaces. And, for the private offices, members have to get a premium membership that will start from €180.

- A message from our partner -

A few months back, we got to see that Merkspace embraced the cryptocurrency trend by letting its members pay using digital currency. Being the first such co-working space, the company stimulates innovation and becomes a truly digital workplace.

Supports business development

The concept of co-working space with flexible workstations and offices support business development as well as international growth. Members of such shared workspaces take part in workshops, events with international experts and speakers and investor breakfasts. Eventually, the business in the growth phase can gain more knowledge and insight and focus on development.
