Helsinki-based Jobilla, a talent acquisition scaleup, announced on Thursday that it is merging with its partner Jobilla Nederland, creating a new business unit called Jobilla Benelux BV.
With this move, Benelux’s subsidiary joins Jobilla Finland and Jobilla DACH GmbH to become the third fundamental pillar of the Jobilla Group.
The merger gives the Benelux subsidiary more resources to focus on candidate-driven practices that target both passive and active candidates, making recruitment fully mobile for candidates and automating the selection process.
“We are very proud of the amazing work the team and Selma Stevense-Bakker have done in the Netherlands. We are also super happy to have Selma continue the journey with us as the CEO of Jobilla Benelux BV. Jobilla Benelux as our unit within Jobilla Group means we will be able to invest strongly in growth in the Benelux region in the future. I’m extremely excited and confident that we are going to build an excellent future together!” says Henri Nordström, CEO of Jobilla.
“The exceptional growth and success of Jobilla Nederland in just 1.5 years far exceeded our expectations, and we are very proud of the amazing work the team has done there,” adds Nordström.
Jobilla Benelux CEO Selma Stevense-Bakker grew Jobilla Nederland into a 14-person team that has grown over 500 per cent in 2022, going from €200k in revenue to €1.3M.
Jobilla Benelux plans to add another five people to its team in 2023.
“I am so happy to be a part of the Jobilla family, and we will definitely make this big! This merger represents a successful partnership that demonstrates mutual trust, enthusiasm, and commitment to matching the best talent for our clients. We are ready and look forward to this next chapter together. Thanks for this chance and the cooperation together,” says Selma Stevense-Bakker, CEO of Jobilla Benelux BV.
Jobilla: What you need to know
Founded in 2015, Jobilla is a recruitment platform that intends to help recruiters, candidates, and employers to get on the same page.
With Jobilla, candidates can apply for jobs on their phones in less than three minutes. Meanwhile, the recruiter gets the candidates automatically categorised based on their potential for the position through Jobilla’s AI-powered candidate filtering.
By analysing up to 35 different metrics from the recruitment funnel, the Finnish platform aims to remove obstacles from the candidate’s path.
Jobilla Benelux says it has executed over 700 campaigns for companies such as Sligro Food Group, OAMKB, and Interzorg.
The company’s white-label solution allows companies to use their branding and marketing teams without intermediaries and have direct control over the candidate funnel.
“A great tool to reach and activate a large target group. The personal approach suits Sligro well,” says Ivo John Smit, HR Manager recruitment at Sligro Food Group.
To date, the Finnish company has raised €10.4M in funding and has over 4000 clients in 56 countries. The company claims to have grown its business by 150 per cent annually and operates globally with a strong focus on the Nordics, Benelux and DACH regions.
