In the retail industry, there is a constant need for rapid reinvention. Especially, e-commerce retailers struggle to innovate delivery due to the rapid growth rate of consumer demand. To address this challenge, it is important to provide an overwhelming and exciting delivery experience.
Manchester-based Sorted, a logistics startup has developed a delivery management platform letting physical and digital retailers manage their deliveries and returns effectively. Founded in 2010 by David Grimes, Sorted is one of the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK.
Secures €16.5M funding
In a recent development, Sorted Group has secured £15 million (nearly €16.4 million) Series B funding. The funding round was led by Merian Chrysalis along with participation from Praetura Ventures and NVM Private Equity LLP. With this investment, the overall funding raised by the leading delivery software company has pocketed total funding of over £35 million (nearly €38.5 million).
Sorted will use the investment to provide business with additional capital to accelerate the pace of technology development and global expansion. Also, the delivery company will help businesses increase employee headcount.
