In the retail industry, there is a constant need for rapid reinvention. Especially, e-commerce retailers struggle to innovate delivery due to the rapid growth rate of consumer demand. To address this challenge, it is important to provide an overwhelming and exciting delivery experience.

Manchester-based Sorted, a logistics startup has developed a delivery management platform letting physical and digital retailers manage their deliveries and returns effectively. Founded in 2010 by David Grimes, Sorted is one of the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK.

Secures €16.5M funding

In a recent development, Sorted Group has secured £15 million (nearly €16.4 million) Series B funding. The funding round was led by Merian Chrysalis along with participation from Praetura Ventures and NVM Private Equity LLP. With this investment, the overall funding raised by the leading delivery software company has pocketed total funding of over £35 million (nearly €38.5 million).

Sorted will use the investment to provide business with additional capital to accelerate the pace of technology development and global expansion. Also, the delivery company will help businesses increase employee headcount.

Portfolio of innovative products

With Sorted’s proprietary technology, retailers can increase conversion rates, improve customer loyalty, and reduce abandoned baskets. The portfolio of Sorted comprises three highly innovative products – SortedHERO, SortedPRO, and SortedREACT.

SortedHERO is an application programming interface solution letting retailers show real-time delivery options at the checkout. SortedPRO is a ground-breaking delivery management platform for shopping and carrier management. SortedREACT is a powerful AI-driven tracking platform aggregating carrier and delivery communications post-purchase.

Strong global presence

Sorted is one of the fastest-growing tech companies in the UK. Its proprietary software is live in 12 countries including France, Germany, and the US. Also, Sorted works with a slew of leading companies including Lush, N Brown, ASOS, Wincanton and Clipper Logistics. It continues to develop disruptive technology to work with potential global retail partners.

David Grimes, founder and CEO of Sorted said: “Sorted is rewriting the rules when it comes to delivery, and we’re delighted to be pushing forward with our global growth. The backing from these high-profile investors is a testament to the size of the opportunity in front of us. This is a really exciting time as we work harder and faster, partnering with the most innovative retailers in the market.”
