In the fast pacing life, people are left with no time for the run- of- the- mill daily tasks like washing dirty clothes. To cope up with the smart era of technology, Spanish startup Mr Jeff offers online laundry solutions for the users.

Investors in Mr Jeff

The startup has secured €10.4 million in series A funding round led by All Iron Ventures and Adventure Fund contributing its total funding of $15.1 million till now. Earlier, Mr Jeff had gained around $3.5 million in seed funding from European entrepreneurs including Doctoralia CEO Albert Armengol, Airbnb MD (Europe, Middle East and Africa) Jeroen Merchiers and CEO of NXC Corp. Kim Jung.

Eloi Gómez, CEO and co-founder of Mr Jeff expressed, “This important Series A demonstrates the consolidation of the business model and the support of the team that is part of Mr Jeff. Our good results have been key to us gaining, once again, the confidence of investors; we have shown that the business model and the network of franchises, Mr Jeff, is a validated project in a strategic sector and that allows the opportunity to create a replicable model in fragmented industries.”

Gómez added, “The investors who trust Mr Jeff are mostly entrepreneurs who have already succeeded with their companies and who recognize that our project has the necessary tools to achieve success.”

Order + Pickup + Delivery = 48 hours

Mr Jeff offers a hassle-free enhanced customer experience through its sleek online platform and mobile application.

Users can schedule a pickup at their convenient time and place and their cleaned clothes delivered within 24 hours of placing an order. The startup offers a range of plans to choose from including a monthly subscription.

Mr Jeff – 7 countries & 2400+ employees

Headquartered in Madrid, Mr Jeff was established in 2016 by three young entrepreneurs including Eloi Gómez, Adrián Lorenzo and Rubén Muñoz. Within two years, the startup has achieved outstanding growth and presently operates in seven countries with 1000 franchises. Further, it facilitates employment for over 2,400 people that include 150 direct team members.

Plans to expand in 30 countries in 2019

Mr Jeff has acquired Brazilian laundry franchise Lava é Leva with over 350 points of sale in 2018. Further, the startup is preparing to penetrate other Latin American markets like Panama, Costa Rica and Uruguay in the coming months.

Invigorated with the current infusion, the startup is widening its team and capacity to bolster its existing markets and expand globally.
