Paris-based visual recognition startup Deepomatic secures €5.5M funding for its AI-driven computer vision applications

Paris-based visual recognition startup Deepomatic applied to industrial projects, has just undergone a fund inflow of €5.5 million in a Series A round. The fundraising was led by Hi Inov Dentressangle, supported by Deepomatic’s investor and historical partner Alven, and their business angel Bertrand Diard, co-founder at Talend.

The French startup empowers industrial businesses with customised AI-driven computer vision applications. Now after the present round, Deepomatic has brought its total funding amount to $8.5M.

Industrial visual recognition

Deepomatic has developed a platform that enables businesses to embark upon their image-related exertion by designing and establishing tailor-made AIs. Clients need to upload images, train their model through manual depiction and active learning and finally, install their API.

Applications across industries

Deepomatic’s AI-driven visual recognition technology has potential applications in multiple industries including automotive, healthcare, security, fashion and construction. The technology can detect tumour growth, analyse images on social networks, or recognize terrorist behaviours.

Global 500 companies among its clients

Deepomatic has facilitated Compass with automation process of thousands of meal trays collection per day at its cafeterias through its technology. Further, the startup is helping parking company Indigo in maintaining operational security.

Oscaro is also leveraging Deepomatic’s technology to automate the quality control of its product ranges. Founded in 2014, Deepomatic is presently catering to 20+ companies including Valeo, Airbus, and Galeries Lafayette.

Enters North American market

Post the capital infusion, Deepomatic aims to escalate its global expansion and establish a new office in New York for mounting into the North American market.
