The Next Ad secures next fat investment of €1.5M from Newion

Savvy social advertising platform The Next Ad has secured a € 1,5 million investment from Newion Investments. This milestone is the next big success in the story of the Dutch startup which became an Official Facebook Marketing Partner in its first year of existence.

The Next Ad’s expansion

The Next Ad is planning to use the cash injection to facilitate international expansion. The company also aims to further develop its innovations on optimizing social advertising campaigns. The Next Ad co-founder and CEO Achmed Awad explains Newion’s investment will enable his company to truly take its potential in the international marketplace to the next level:

Lots of likes from Facebook

The Next Ad’s easy-to-use interface helps companies big and small to make the most of their advertising campaigns on Facebook and Instagram. The company provides clients with the opportunity to optimize their campaigns through a clever algorithm. This unique optimisation solution has been getting a lot of likes from facebook itself: the software landed The Next Ad an award for one of the ten most innovative company solutions in the world at the 2016 Facebook Innovation Awards. The company is also is the only Facebook Marketing Partner in the Benelux area. The Next Ad already has over 2000 clients, among which are big Dutch brands like Heineken, Takeaway.com, Wehkamp, Bol.com and CataWiki.

Path to a market-leading position

Newion Investments has successfully specialized in investing in Benelux-based B2B software companies. Its biggest investor is the European Investment Fund, which invests in innovative EU-companies through its ‘Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme’ (CIP). Newion investment manager Mathijs de Wit is confident the company has befriended a promising business:
