Last update:

Previously, employee satisfaction and happiness were not given much importance. Now, this has become a norm and it is important for organisations to prevent work-related stress and stimulate engagement and happiness among employees. In fact, there are studies proving that increased engagement among employees will increase productivity by 45%. Considering the benefit, it looks like a new standard for employee happiness will be set in the coming years.

Notably, one of the important ways to make employees perform well is by offering continuous insight into the work-related happiness. There are many companies that work to mitigate stress and create a healthy working environment for the employee and one of them is 2DAYSMOOD.

Raises โ‚ฌ360k funding

Founded in 2015 by Martin Meulenkamp and Jan Pronk, Utrecht-based HR tech startup raised โ‚ฌ360k funding, which will be used for international expansion and product development. The investment will be used to hire new talent as well. In the next few months, 2DAYSMOOD hopes to expand into international markets such as Australia and the US.

Works on new product!

2DAYSMOOD is working on a new product, which will focus on the relationship between employee happiness and the KPIs followed by a company. This will let organisations directly link data related to stress, commitment and dissatisfaction to their KPIs.

Continuous internal feedback loop

With the Dutch HR tech startup, companies can create a continuous internal feedback loop. This is possible with its appealing and anonymous 15-second survey and a small analysis platform. This survey software delivers knowledge and practical tools to improve the overall work environment for the welfare of the employees, which will, in turn, be beneficial for the organisations.

Wide clientele

Since its debut, 2DAYSMOOD is helping numerous companies create a positive work environment for employees. Earlier this year, the Dutch railway infrastructure manager ProRail became 2DAYSMOODโ€™s customer. Apart from ProRail, the company works with software suppliers, institutions in healthcare and educational sectors and municipalities. Currently, the last two sectors are facing major HR challenges due to high work pressure, staff shortages and high turnover.

Reliable and relevant system

โ€œThe measurement is done quickly, continuously, and in a fun way, generating feedback that is reliable and relevant,โ€ said CEO Martin Meulenkamp. โ€œManagers who use our online analysis platform see our smart data as a huge advantage. With these figures at your fingertips, you can make clearer decisions on โ€˜soft subjectsโ€™ such as work happiness or work stress more decisiveness, thereby freeing up resources for management.โ€
