Top 10 international VCs coming to TNW Conference 2019

The 14th edition of TNW Conference is here! The TNW Conference 2019 is happening on May 9 and 10 at NDSM, located in Amsterdam Noord. For the uninitiated, TNW Conference is a 2-day techfest that brings together a thriving ecosystem of technology and business innovators.

Moreover, one can expect keynotes from experts in the tech industry and plenty of side events including 250 exhibiting tech startups and growth companies,  curated startup matchmaking for investors, where you can expand your network.

Notably, Silicon Canals will be an official media partner for the TNW Startup Program, where we will be covering the event, and hosting a side event on May 8, co-sponsored by TRUE. The event will take place a day before the official conference commences, where our founder, Remco Janssen has an announcement to make about the new Silicon Canals.

How to watch livestream?

For those who won’t be able to attend the conference, TNW is live streaming on both days. Together with LiveU, the TNW TV livestream will run from 9:40 to 17:45 on May 9 and from 9:25 to 17:00 on May 10 (CEST). Apart from the conference, you get to watch interviews with some of the biggest names in tech.

Her portfolio includes more than 110+ tech-enabled companies. Notably, Jenny began her career as a lawyer, spent time at JP Morgan and is a graduate of Columbia University where she is an Adjunct Professor.

Reshma Sohoni, Co-founder and Managing Partner, Seedcamp

Getting degrees in both Engineering and Business, Reshma started Seedcamp in 2007 with a strong desire to help the European founder realize global success. Early on in her career during the height of the dot com boom, Reshma worked in M&A and venture capital across B2B Software and Internet services businesses in the US and India.

Tanya Soman, Venture Partner, 500 Startups

Tanya is a native New Yorker and Venture Partner at 500 Startups focused on seed stage investment opportunities in the consumer space with an emphasis on beauty and fashion. Previously, Tanya worked in AdTech before moving to Silicon Valley. She graduated with a BS in business management from Babson College.

Lillian is responsible for sourcing and analysing new deals, due diligence on potential investments and monitoring portfolio companies. She has lived and worked in the US, UK and Asia. She holds a BA Hons in Economics from Cambridge University and a MSc in International Development from LSE.
