Digital transformation is accelerating due to the COVID-19 pandemic. This leads to remote working times as businesses are refining their digital sales process. In a recent development, Sweden-based GetAccept, an all-in-one sales platform, has raised $20M (approx €16.5M) in its Series B round of funding.
The round was led by Bessemer Venture Partners. With this, GetAccept’s total raised capital has reached $30M (approx €24.7M), to date.
Use of the raised funds
As per the company, the raised capital will help to further the company’s role in taking sales enablement to the next level, by offering a deal room management platform that removes friction in the buying process. It enables sales reps to close remote deals by being personal, communicative, and engaging in more online sales, globally.
About GetAccept
The company was founded in 2015 by Swedish entrepreneurs and Y Combinator alumni Samir Smajic, Mathias Thulin, Jonas Blanck, and Carl Carell. GetAccept is on a mission to radically redefine the way companies run sales.
GetAccept provides a sales enablement platform for sales to design, send, promote, track, and e-sign sales documents, leveraging sales collateral, contract management, proposals, and electronic signatures in one place, a so-called ‘Deal Room’.
In addition, it provides real-time insights about active deals, enabling sales teams to keep track of the real pipeline and maximise performance with the help of AI, smart reminders, and advanced reporting.
The company has expanded from 30 to now more than 100 employees over the last 18 months with offices across the US and European countries. The platform serves more than 30,000 users in more than 3,000 different enterprises across more than 50 countries.
Samir Smajic, a co-founder of GetAccept, says, “We made a bold prediction in 2015, that B2B sales would move online. The companies which deliver the best digital buyer experience with personal interaction and communication will be the winners.”
“Back then, people really didn’t understand why and how this would happen. Today we believe our solution is the most innovative way of doing B2B deals virtually and we are convinced that GetAccept will continue to expand in the tailwind of shifting to an online sales model,” adds Smajic.
Growth and development
The company’s software integrates with more than 50 business apps such as CRM tools including Salesforce, Hubspot, and Pipedrive, open API, Zapier connections, and other customised solutions to help streamline the business workflows.
GetAccept’s customers include Samsung, Chargebee, and Diners Club International, among others.
In 2019 the company had raised $7M (approx €5.7M) in its Series A round of funding led by DN Capital, with participation from BootstrapLabs, Y Combinator, and a number of Spotify’s early investors including the former CFO of Spotify, Peter Sterky.
In December 2019, GetAccept, since its inception in Sweden, the company has consistently doubled its sales each year. 2019 was no exception as GetAccept ended the year with sales between $4.2M – $4.5M (approx €3.4M – €3.7M). The aim was to double growth again in 2020.
Prior to that in September 2017, the company had raised its first funding of $1.6M (approx €1.3M) in a Seed round from Amino Capital and Y Combinator, as well as other angel investors, to expand its operations.
