Got bored of your iPhones and iPads? Well, if you tech enthusiast/Apple fanboy, the Cupertino giant is cooking up something exciting that might freak you out. Back in 2015, Apple assembled a huge team to develop a pair of smart glasses capable of producing AR experiences. And that’s going to be a reality soon. Excited?
Interestingly, the company is set to release the AR glass soon alongside the new Macbook, iPhone SE2, as per the TF Securities analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. If the rumor circulating online turns out to be accurate, the company will be unveiling the device early next year!
Furthermore, the report adds that the AR smart glass will work with various third-party companies to transfer information from the iPhone and display it on the glass, just like Tony Stark’s glasses. The exact design of the glass is still unclear, meaning, whether they will work like regular eyewear or a virtual reality glass.
He also said that the device would borrow computational capabilities from the iPhone, including CPU, GPU, and network connection, mostly through the Bluetooth connection. Apple is also planning to launch iPhone SE2 that will use the same A13 chip in the iPhone 11 with a design similar to the iPhone 8. Additionally, Kuo said Apple is expected to launch a new MacBook with an improved keyboard alongside as well.
A weeks back, Apple held its ‘Apple Special Event’ in its headquarters in Cupertino at Steve Jobs park, announcing a range of updates on its new subscription services as well as new products including new iPhones.
