London-based Unmind secures €9.16M Series A funding to assure better mental health of employees

Concerns regarding mental health are on the rise these days and it is of increasing priority in the workplace. As per a Deloitte report on mental health, 1 in 6 employees is said to experience some sort of mental health issue related to work. As employers seek to resolve this issue, the London-based well-being platform Unmind’s digital solution lets employees take a preventive and proactive approach to ensure their mental health and well-being.

Unmind believes that everyone has the right to have a healthy mind. The mental health platform for employees lets them proactively measure and manage their mental well-being via scientifically-proven assessments, training, tools, and signposting. It also helps organisations access aggregated and anonymous data that let them make informed decisions regarding their mental health strategy.

Secures €9.16M funding

In a recent development, Unmind announced that it has secured $10 million (nearly €9.16 million) Series A funding led by Berlin-based Project A along with support from Felix Capital that previously invested €3.4 million in the startup. Notably, this is one of the largest Series A funding rounds raised by European mental health platforms.

With the investment, this London mental health platform will operate with the commitment to measurably improve the employees’ mental health in workplaces across the world. It has been announced that this funding will help Unmind meet the growing international demand and provide new services. Also, it is said to help the platform realise its vision of creating a world where mental health is understood, nurtured, and celebrated.
