If you own a small business or a startup and want to sell your products online, however you don’t have the time, budget and resources to build a webshop, this e-commerce platform is the right solution for you. Shopitag, an e-commerce platform launched by Infinity Mobile, a Belgium-based company helps businesses sell their products via small online pop-up shops.

Launched this year, Shopitag is headquartered in Diegem, Belgium. It lets traders set up smart online pop-up shops that are personalised and focused. The parent company Infinity Mobile is a digital e-commerce player focusing on ordering and payment solutions for catering, event halls and retail. The notable clients of Infinity Mobile includes Brussels Airport, Brussels Expo, Van der Valk Hotel, Unilever and ING Bank.

Here’s how we think Shopitag set itself apart from the other e-commerce platforms.

Seamless mobile shopping

Shopitag shop looks good on mobile. These days, customers visit a website or webshop on their mobile or tablet, so having a webshop UI is important.

Shopitag also lets merchants create an account and set up the first pop-up shop instantly. The merchants can integrate the shop with their already existing sales channels such as Instagram, Facebook, Messenger, their website and more.

Create personalised offers

With Shopitag, merchants can create personalised offers based on user behaviour. It brings in conversational commerce by helping customers personally via chat. The startup will reportedly bring voice as well in the future.

Retail marketing automation

Among the most beneficial features of Shopitag are Recover abandoned carts and Retarget Visitors. These features help merchants execute a retail marketing automation strategy, which optimises the sales made on the Shopitag shops. This can be done along with chatbots or via email.

With Recover abandoned carts, merchants can configure the recovery of the abandoned carts indicating when someone who left the shop with a filled cart should be reminded. With the next feature, Shopitag lets merchants retarget the visitors easily by sending them targeted ads.

A choice of plans

Shopitag is free to start and offers all functionalities until the user earns more than 3 sales a month. Later, merchants have to choose between any of the plans as mentioned here. All these plans offer unlimited transactions but the other features vary.

Starter plan is priced at €179.4 per year. It lets merchants let up 1 pop-up shop and charges 2% fee per transaction. It doesn’t have API connectivity as the other plans. Also, there is no recover abandoned carts and retargeting features.

Bronze plan is priced at €420 annually. Users can set up 5 pop-up shops, 1.5% fee per transaction and API connectivity. It doesn’t offer the other features such as recover abandoned carts and retargeting features.

The Silver plan priced at €900 offers up to 10 pop-up shops, API connectivity, recovery of abandoned carts and retargeting features. It charges a 1% fee per transaction. On the other hand, the Gold plan is similar to the Silver plan. The only difference is that it is priced at €3348 per year, charges 0.5% transaction fee and lets users set up to 25 pop-up shops.
