Dordrecht, the Netherlands-based DocWolves announced on Tuesday that it has merged with French company Qualigraf to form Qualigraf Groupe BV.
Building upon their close collaboration since 2011 in areas such as paperless meetings, council information, file flow, and digital voting, this merger solidifies their position as a leading specialist in the field.
With the combined expertise and resources of both companies, Qualigraf Groupe BV is poised to offer a comprehensive portfolio of decision support tools to their international clientele.
“The merger is a logical consequence of years of intensive cooperation, and it consolidates the position of both companies,” CEO Rens Groeneveld explains.
“In France, our software is widely used by government organisations under the brand names Kdelib, Kbox, Kpub, and KVote. Cities such as Marseille, Lyon, and Thionville, but also departments such as Lot et Garonne, Hautes-Alpes, and Val de Loire, support their decision-making processes with our solution,” adds Groeneveld.
Operating under the label Parlaeus in the Netherlands, DocWolves supports government organisations such as the municipalities of Apeldoorn, Leiden, Westland, and Bodegraven-Reeuwijk.
DocWolves also cater to the healthcare and financial sectors through their OurMeeting label, serving renowned institutions like St. Antionius Hospital, the AFM, Mitros, and the Atlant Care Group.
One of the key challenges faced by organisations, despite advancements in digitalisation, is the complexity surrounding decision-making processes.
Meetings often suffer from confusion regarding the correct version of proposals and it becomes challenging to ensure that the right individuals have reviewed them and to track the decision’s history.
“Decision-making is much more than hitting something in a meeting,” says Groeneveld.
“Both in the run-up to a decision-making meeting and during the process afterward, it is important that all stakeholders can play their roles properly. That means: The right information is available at the right time. You must be able to check whether what has been agreed has been done,” he continues.
In addition, there must be room for participation and acquiring support, both within and outside the organisation,” adds Groeneveld.
The Qualigraf Groupe wants to contribute to this with its solution.
“We believe that strengthening decision-making through support with a specific trade application is justified,” adds Groeneveld.
“Of course, there are numerous partial solutions that each work quite well in their own right. But all those separate sub-solutions form a patchwork of packages that do not fit together or do not fit well together. That ultimately affects the overview and the support for your decision-making.”
Despite the merger, the focus on Dutch customers remains unchanged.
According to Groeneveld, software development will continue to take place in the Netherlands while French operations will concentrate on sales and implementation.
The scale of the newly formed company provides Dutch customers with a sense of stability, guaranteeing continuity in the services they rely upon.
