Charlotte, US-based QuintEvents, a provider of official hospitality and travel experiences to sports and entertainment events, announced the acquisition of the Netherlands-based GoHammerhead.
Based out of Drenthe, GoHammerhead offers customised transportation solutions to the sports and business events industry on a global scale.
“We are very excited to have become part of the QuintEvents Group,” says Maarten Heymen, GoHammerhead’s CEO
“While already working very closely with the team at QuintEvents, this further integration unlocks incredible potential for our clients. It will significantly expand our joint and independent customer service offerings at many global events & series,” he continues.
“At the same time, this integration improves the customer experience by making services more accessible to our entire client portfolio which ultimately opens massive new revenue opportunities on all sides. As a practical first step GoHammerhead will also have an active US presence at Quint’s Charlotte-based headquarters from April 1 onwards, and there is much more to come!’’ adds Heymen.
Aim of the acquisition
QuintEvents says the strategic move is aimed at strengthening its position in the travel and experiences industry as it combines the premium hospitality packages offered by the company with GoHammerhead’s innovative transportation services.
By acquiring GoHammerhead, QuintEvents will have access to customisable transportation solutions to make travelling to and from events as smooth and stress-free as possible.
“The acquisition of GoHammerhead further displays Quint’s total commitment to a fully integrated travel and experiential economy,” says Brian Ruede, CEO of Quint.
“Partnering with the exceptional brand, reputation, and expertise that GoHammerhead brings to our portfolio, will transform another aspect of our customer experience,” he adds.
Currently, GoHammerhead’s services range from detailed, high-end VVIP programmes to large-scale transportation projects with thousands of guests.
The acquisition will also allow Quint to deliver design, management, and execution of event guest transportation for its existing partners as well as incorporate the business of standalone transportation outside its current portfolio.
GoHammerhead will continue to provide its services to multinational brands and marketing/event agencies at events like Formula 1, World Economic Forum, Goodwood Festival of Speed, Kentucky Derby, MotoGP, Formula E, World Endurance Championship, UEFA Champions League and many other sports and business events.

Quint has continued on its growth journey by acquiring other brands in the sports, entertainment, and travel sectors including Monaco Star Events and Sportsnet Holidays.
The company also extended its partnership with Formula 1, now offering exclusive packages like F1 Garage, the ultimate fan experience.
