The world of logistics is transforming to a great extent and changing the way people think about parcel delivery and express delivery. These days, many delivery platforms ensure to service people by providing them with quick delivery and being responsible by opting for sustainable delivery options.

One such startup is Dutch-based Packaly. Founded by Adrik Elzing, Axel Dekker, and Niels Nijhof in 2018, it lets retailers deliver their package to their customers within 60 minutes. It is said to have an upper hand over other Dutch e-commerce platforms such as Coolblue with its 60 minutes delivery service.

Launches delivery in select cities

The Dutch-based last-mile delivery startup Packaly has announced that it will open its delivery platform in Eindhoven and Rotterdam this week and in The Hague soon. It wants to focus on the pilot in Utrecht and expand to other major cities in the Netherlands quickly. It has already connected a number of parties to the platform. In the next six months, Packaly wants to connect twenty stores to its on-demand delivery platform.

What does Packaly do?

The on-demand delivery platform delivers orders within 60 minutes, seven days a week and provides evening delivery too. Those who place an order via an affiliated online store can opt for the Packaly option to avail the quick delivery service.

Following the same, independent Uber Eats and Deliveroo couriers will receive the order in real-time via the Packaly app on their smartphone so that they can deliver it within 60 minutes. The packages will be collected within ten minutes on an average and evening deliveries will be delivered for orders until 5 PM.

Demand for quick delivery

Packaly notes that Dutch people work from home and do not go out quite often. However, they expect people to get their orders delivered soon. This is where entrepreneurs try to act smartly and focus on capitalising the demand. As there is a lot of pressure on all processes and organisations for fast delivery, Packaly wants to come up with a solution to meet the same.
