Last update:

The perception of Artificial intelligence (AI) has become diverse and opinions about it vary widely. With mixed sentiments acknowledging both the advantages and challenges posed by AI, there is a growing focus on striking a balance for responsible developments.

AI, with capabilities spanning learning, reasoning, and problem-solving, has made a lasting impact across global sectors. Its reach extends to domains such as automation, healthcare, cybersecurity, and environmental sustainability, among others. The power of AI is evident in its contributions to diverse fields, shaping the future of technology and innovation.

As per Fortune Business Insights, the AI market is poised for significant expansion, projecting growth from $387.45B in 2022 to $1,394.30B in 2029, with a notable CAGR of 20.1 per cent during the forecast period.

Amsterdam, the capital of the Netherlands, stands out as a preferred hub for AI startups. Its high-tech community fosters collaboration, and the city’s skilled workforce in computer sciences and engineering contributes to the development and attracting investment in the process.

Additionally, Amsterdam’s international appeal and business infrastructure also make it a supportive environment for AI startups to establish and expand their operations.

In this context, we present a curated list of Amsterdam-based AI startups that have secured funding of €1M or more and are actively hiring.
