Fitmanager, an all-in-one SaaS solution for fitness and health has announced a merger with Viennese startup Eversports, as the latter continues its aggressive course of expansion by acquiring other companies in their industry.

With that being said, the team of Fitmanager will be completely integrated with the Eversports team and at the same time will stay independent to develop the new mutual child Eversports NL in the Netherlands and Belgium.

The integration of Fitmanager into the Eversports family is yet another milestone in both companies’ journey to become the market leader in Europe and beyond.

Evaluating new potential markets!

Notably, the core team of Eversports is already evaluating new potential markets within Europe and occasionally outside. Since the startup in Vienna certainly has a lot of capital leftovers, it would be interesting to see possible future acquisitions.

Serve more than 2500 clients

Amsterdam-based Fitmanager and Eversports serve more than 2500 clients combines in the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland and Germany, Eversports (Austrian) and Fitmanager (Dutch) are now one of the biggest sports, fitness and health software suppliers in Europe.

With this collaboration, they will predominantly focus on companies active in yoga, boutique fitness, boot camp, pilates, CrossFit, dance, cycling and martial arts. In addition, the software for tennis, squash, padel and football will also be rolled out in the Netherlands.

Founded by Maarten Borgers and Vincent van den Tol in 2016, Fitmanager is an innovative online software system for business owners in Fitness and Health. It offers a SaaS solution for small fitness clubs, boutique gym & personal training studios.

Based out of Vienna, Eversports connects its members directly with sports venues, helps them to book courts or courses and to meet sports partners. Founded by Andreas Woditschka, Emanuel Steininger, Hanno Lippitsch, and Ivo Radulovski, the company has raised a total of $9.6M in funding over 4 rounds. Their latest funding was raised on May 3, 2018, from a Series A round.

Maarten Borgers, CEO Fitmanager:

The fitness and health industry is booming and in the Netherlands and Belgium, we already made a huge impact. When Vincent and I started in 2015, we knew we had a great product which really helps business owners grow and manage their businesses more effectively.

Getting the attention, interest and recognition from Hanno and the Eversports team gave us the confirmation that Fitmanager had grown into a leader in the field of fitness and health software in the Netherlands and Belgium. I’m really honoured to become part of the Eversports Family with the whole team and grow our joint business even faster.

Hanno Lippitsch, CEO Eversports:

We met Maarten and Vincent in summer 2018 and immediately felt that we would love to work with them. They have developed a great product in a relatively short amount of time, build a loyal customer base and share our vision and values. We believe their team will enrich Eversports in many ways and that we couldn’t possibly have found anyone more suited to grow the business in Netherlands and Belgium. I’m very happy we can now grow together to become European market leader and beyond.
